First training ride of the new year

I eventually managed to get out on the bike last night at about 11pm. In November I started the strength building period of my training. I have been using a fixed bike and doing 3 laps (each 30mins)of a hilly circuit.

It felt a little harder last night than before Christmas, but I think that is to expected as I leapt back in where I left off before the holidays.

It was driving rain and very windy (ideal for strength training), but I enjoyed being back on the bike and I'm now looking forward to getting some racing.
